Golf Simulators in Hong Kong

Hong Kong golf simulators have become so good that they’re almost as much fun as the playing at a Hong Kong Golf Club. Hong Kong golfers can play Pebble Beach, Harbour Town, The TPC at Sawgrass and many other golf courses in less than an hour. The one thing that sets golf simulators in Hong Kong apart from all other virtual versions of the game is that you really get to swing a golf club. The graphics in such games might not quite match those of PC and console entertainments, but it’s nice to use more muscles than just the ones in your thumbs. Many Hong Kong golf simulators are available, from the huge (and hugely expensive) to new, inexpensive models that would fit in a briefcase.

Golf simulators in Hong Kong feature real-life graphics, great courses, and heavyduty science that produce the next generation of indoor golf. Introduced in 2003, these machines back then were too expensive for home use and you’ll find them in the growing chain of PGA Tour Superstores unfortunately not available in the Hong Kong golf shop industry.

Some Hong Kong golf simulators let you swing full-out at a screen. The ball flight trajectory sensor projects where your shot will go, and you putt right into the screen. These golf simululators rent for quite a bit of money even for a Hong Kong golfer and you’ll see them at conventions as well as at a few Hong Kong golf shops and sports bars.

There are home models of these simulators available, too, though they can cost as much as a small car. Some Hong Kong golf simulators like full-swing golf simulator, boasts photo-realistic courses and optional golf swing analysis, this one may be too expensive for most Hong Kong golfers to own, but it’s great fun to play if you find one in your town.

Full Swing Golf is one of the most popular simulators on the market and the have golf simulators located in the heart of Central at City Links Golf Hong Kong, the leading golf simulator in Hong Kong ideal for corporate golf events and Hong Kong golf events.

Technology in Golf Simulators Hong Kong

Sensor technology in Hong Kong golf simulators really breaks down into, how the raw data from the swing is collected and communicated to the system to determine how the golf ball was hit and how it is shown on the course. This breaks down into three major categories of sensors: Radar, Camera and Infrared based systems. In my personal experience infrared and camera based systems tend to be more accurate and will give more feed back through the swing analysis software.

Radar:The data is collected in much of the same way a radar gun collects its data. In my option it is not very accurate and is poor for giving feedback for a swing.

Hong Kong golf simulator camera technology can be great due to the fact all of the data is collected when the ball passes through the view of the cameras (a small area) and requires no sensors in the ground. I would recommend this system to the people who cannot dedicate the floor space to an infrared based system (sensors in the ground or walls).

Infrared systems will give the best feedback for club fitting and swing analysis. I have found the best Hong Kong golf simulators use infrared based technology and I prefer an in-ground sensor. The data for a swing analyzer is most accurately taken at the point where the club meets the ball, again advantage in-ground infrared. The in-ground sensors make putting much more realistic. The draw back is the floor space which is required for these types of systems.

Putting can be the most frustrating part of playing on a Hong Kong golf simulator, much of this is due to the placement of the sensors. On a radar based system the sensors are usually placed above the ball striking area. Many golfers' upper body will block the sensors and this tends to lead to miss reads by the sensors. Camera and infrared systems are the best for putting, but beware there are many simulators where the sensors will impede the path of the putt. Again creating errors and misreads, better have those mulligan's ready. Be weary of systems which have any sensor on the putting surface, the ball will not travel over the sensors accurately. The best system for putting is an in-ground infrared based system.

Sensor technology will have a major impact on the overall performance and playability of your Hong Kong simulator.

Golf Simulator Training and Entertainment in Hong Kong

A huge benefit with using golf simulators in Hong Kong in your business is they still open when the sun goes down. Hong Kong Golf courses are constantly reliant upon the climate to assist and when the sun goes down the day is over. This problem does not apply to a simulator, schedules will be more constant and total billable hours can be extensive, while using a pro. With a Hong Kong golf simulator you can decide how behind you want to stay open. If your organization provides restoration facilities, you can expect your clients staying around longer, while they play a round or get a lesson after normal golf courses are closed.

The history behind Hong Kong golf simulators is important to recognize. Golf simulators have spawned from it's childhood as a golf tuition tool, providing a way to play in the house and also receive advice on a players shot. This same training feature is still the underlying benefit to most Hong Kong golf simulators. Now with the development of software and sensor equipment, these great training tools have become so much more. Golfers with experience are willing to pay for

Hong Kong Golfers are always aiming to get better. A Hong Kong golf simulator can help greatly with this quest, by supplying swing investigation, club fitting and the advantage of playing in the house year round. So you need to adjust your business to the people who are looking to ameliorate their game. The best way to do this is to work with or hire a professional golfer. A pro can charge their client for time on the simulator and use of the complicated training tools which are offered on most of the golf simulators on the market. Many golf pros are turned off by the simulators, because they believe it would steal their normal business clients. The truth is a golf simulator can help a professional golfer to better determine where the problem areas are with a client's game and in turn make them a more efficient instructor. And simultaneously allow professional golfer to work year round and charge the same if not more money for an indoor lesson. Do you offer club fitting? With most Hong Kong golf simulators, a professional golfer is given the feedback required to offer club fitting to your customers, thus increased sales to your professional golfer shop.

Joining a Pro is the easiest way to generate revenues on your Hong Kong golf simulator. I would recommend working with the professional golfer to create programs which incorporate both indoor and outdoor lessons. Check with your local golf courses to see what professional golfer are charging for lessons and use that information to price your packages competitively.

This is the part of your Hong Kong golf simulator which can drive revenues through replicate business. Offering your customers a true entertaining familiarity will keep them coming back for more (and with their friends). Using your simulator to create entertainment is easy. You are offering your customers the facility to play some of the worlds best golf courses all from the comfort of your organization. Golfers love to try out new courses; a golf simulator gives them the facility to play a round whether in California, the next round in New Zealand, in South Africa, in Mauritius, in Tokyo, Hong Kong, China or where ever they choose to play from your course library. Marketing this aspect will create a buzz for your business, create a league, host a tournament, and hold contests: "like longest drive" or "closest to the pin". All of these are easy ways to drive individuals and teams of players to your system. Again this is a great way to extend business hours. A two-some will play 18 holes of golf on a simulator, in about an hour and fifteen minutes, so host a league night of eight players and you could have golfers at your organization; eating, drinking, and playing golf, well into the tiny hours of the night, if you choose.

I would advise surveying your customers to see how much interest there is in specific events. If you currently run a summer league, I would roll that league into an indoor fall or winter league. Talk to your sponsors and see if they would offer prizes for a "closest to the pin" contest or to the winner team of a tournament. Market the idea of being able to play a different golf course every week, incorporate this into your leagues and tournaments. I recommend setting up nine-hole leagues and have the league last no more than eight weeks.

By creating a few simple programs and working with a professional golfer, you can easily set up your golf simulator to start generating revenues for your business. One last piece of advice: Market your programs! Let your current and potential customers know about your system and programs, this will greatly increase player participation and customer awareness. These are simply suggestions and presentation will vary on location, market competition and other factors in the Hong Kong Golf industry. Buying Golf Clubs in Hong Kong

Buying the right golf equipment to play the game of golf in Hong Kong is not that difficult. All it takes is for the golfer to look at the right place and getting value for one's money. Hong Kong golfers can check the local directory or simply visit www.golfshophongkong.com. Here are some tips for buying golf clubs in Hong Kong:

How often will the golfer use the golf clubs in Hong Kong. It doesn't take that much to maintain golf equipment in Hong Kong since all a person needs is a roller brush or a small towel. If the person is just starting out in golf, the brand does not matter but it will later on as the person decides to invest more in the sport.

Before one starts buying, it is best to first check if that person has the budget for it. There are many brands available and this is sometimes the determining factor which will make a person do well in the green or not.

Most Hong Kong golf shops sell brand new and second hand equipment. If that person can't afford a new set, it is advisable to first start with a used one then save up for a brand new one later on.

Many Hong Kong golfers can't tell the difference how one brand is better than another. If that person has that problem, one should ask the sales person for help since that individual is more familiar with what is there available in the shop.

Buying golf clubs in Hong Kong can be challenging. By looking in more than one store, a person can probably get a good deal or find an item that is cheaper in one store than the one down the street.

Golf in Hong Kong specialty stores are just one place where one can get good merchandise. The other is via the internet. There area many websites that also specialize in selling brand new and second hand equipment. One can order it online and have it delivered to one's doorstep. Another way of doing, which may not carry a whole line of things for golf, are auction sites where a person can bid on a certain item and if one is the winning bidder, one will also be able to get it in a few days.

Some experts who have played golf for quite some time prefer to sell the old equipment to someone which saves money in paying for a new one. If the person asks around, there is a chance that individual will be lucky to get it at a good price which is a far better deal then getting it from any golf shop in Hong Kong.

Our recommendation is to buy clubs from Golf Shop Hong.

Full Swing Golf Simulator Hong Kong

Here's a quick interview back in 2005 from Full Swing Golf which has 4 of their latest golf simulators in Hong Kong's Golf Simulator facility - City Links Golf.

Over the past 16 years, San Diego-based Full Swing Golf has sold more than 3,000 indoor golf simulators for installation at golf courses, retail stores, golf shops and other venues throughout the country. Company President Floyd Arnold has witnessed first-hand the technological changes that have led many course owners to install the indoor machines as an important supplement to their outdoor operations. Among the company’s golf course clients are NGCOA members Schenley Park Golf Course in Pittsburgh; The Golf Center at Bunker Hill in Medinah, Ohio; and Gray Eagle Golf Course in Fishers, Ind.

Golf Business: How has the simulator market changed in recent years?

Floyd Arnold: Our market is expanding. In the early 1990s pro shops and stand-alone indoor golf centers were, and still are, a big part of our market. But as the simulator improved in realism of play, others caught the vision of indoor golf. We now have units in fitness centers, on cruise ships, in hospitals, corporate offices, colleges and such high-profile courses as Isleworth Country Club in Orlando. Donald Trump has three units on order for one of his courses. Custom units for homeowners have also become a major part of our market.

G.B.: What makes them attractive to course owners?

F.A.: Basically, the Full Swing Golf simulator provides entertainment for customers and profit for course owners. It is not unusual for each simulator to generate revenues of more than $6,000 per month. Weather forces many courses [especially in the North] to close five months a year. The simulator gives them the opportunity to provide year-round employment for course staffs. Many instructors do all their teaching in the simulator, regardless of the time of year. Sometimes the golf industry looks at simulators as competition, but it is just the opposite. Lenny Shaw, manager of Eel River Golf Course in Churubusco, Ind., has had four Full Swing Golf simulators for the past six years. He says they have increased outdoor rounds because people in winter leagues get to know the facility and management and return to play in the summer.

G.B.: Are new markets developing for indoor simulators?

F.A.: Foreign countries have developed the indoor golf concept much more rapidly than the United States. In many Scandinavian countries, golfers must obtain a playing permit before they can play an outside course. In Oslo, Norway, a city of about 500,000, we have about 100 golf simulators where people learn to golf before they go outside. During the winter these facilities are booked solid from morning until night with leagues and practice.

G.B.: Why do simulators work so well for club fitting?

F.A.: The infrared tracking system gives instant feedback of the exact launch angle and ball speed. Accurate ball flight enables the customer to fit his swing to the proper club. Ball flight data is so accurate many pro shops use it to match the proper ball to the customer’s club. The Full Swing Golf simulator at the PGA Learning Center in Port Saint Lucie, Fla., is used primarily for club fitting.

G.B.: Do simulators become obsolete?

F.A.: If someone had purchased a Full Swing Golf simulator in 1991 and wanted to update by replacing the computer, projector, software and screen it would play like a new machine.

G.B.: Do courses use simulators during the outdoor-playing season?

F.A.: Many courses are having success with simulators in their 19th-hole lounges. Giving golfers the opportunity to have a closest-to-the-pin or long-drive contest is fun and very profitable. Kids love the simulator, which opens opportunities for little leagues or parent-youth leagues. Simulators also give kids the opportunity to golf inside while dad plays outside.

Hong Kong Golf Lessons Consideration

If you are thinking about taking up golf lessons in Hong Kong, or if you're a Hong Kong golfer in search of better golf, you have probably considered golf lessons or golf training in Hong Kong. But are golf lessons in Hong Kong really helpful? And how do you find a golf pro who will offer good advice in a Hong Kong golf simulator such as City Links Golf Hong Kong.

Quite a few golfers swear that Hong Kong golf lessons are important and others say that practice is the only thing that will improve your golf. The truth seems to lie somewhere in the middle. Before you drop your coach or sign up for Hong Kong golf training, consider what it is that you hope golf lessons will accomplish. Announce your goals may help you decide whether you truly need lessons or simply more time on the course.

If you're serious about the game, you've probably been involved long enough that you don't need advice on whether to get a coach. But if you've only recently discovered the joy of golfing, you may find yourself looking for a way to improve your game. Golf lessons in Hon Kong could very well be the answer.

Many golfers say that lessons give them a set time to practice and an opportunity to completely focus on the game. You'll typically be less interrupted than if you were playing on your own, stopping to chat with friends along the way. But others say the simple fact of having someone scrutinizing every move and offering constant advice is more distracting than helpful. Decide whether you're one of those who accept direction and works well in that situation. That's a major clue as to whether golf lessons are a good idea.

Remember that a Hong Kong golf coach's job is to teach you to golf correctly. That means that there are some habits that he will be trying to ingrain and others they'll be trying to break. While golfing correctly is a terrific goal, many golfers have some bad habits that they tout as benefiting their game. Changing your grip, adjusting your stance or even using different equipment may be among the "must do" list from your coach. You have two options. You can do your best to follow the instructions, or you can explain that you aren't planning to change that particular habit. If you don't plan to change, you may need to reexamine your decision to take lessons. Without following directions, lessons may become a waste of time and effort on both parts, and money on yours.

Golf lessons in Hong Kong are great for some people. It's a personal decision whether you are one of those who will benefit from a coach - formal or informal. Call Kim Inglis, a former Canadian PGA Golf Pro who is now giving golf lessons in Hong Kong.

Taking Golf Lessons in Hong Kong

Taking golf lessons in Hong Kong can be an expensive, time-consuming effort. Like anything in golf that will cost money and require time, you should be careful before you go ahead with choosing anytone for your Hong Kong golf lesson. It's okay to shop around for a golf trainer in Hong Kong and it's recommended in order to help your golf game. Here are some things to consider before you start to take golf training in Hong Kong

Consider Your Budget
Golf lessons in Hong Kong are more expensive than say golf lessons in Thailand. In general, the more expensive golf instructors in Hong Kong are the ones with more experience, more accolades and who are attached to a more upscale golf facility sych as Cuty Links Golf located in Central Hong Kong. But there are lots of golf teaching pros out there who are less expensive but still very good. Decide how much you are willing to spend before you start shopping, and stick to it.

EnSure Your Goals and Commitment Match
Hong Kong golf lessons can do wonders with your game, but it can't do it alone. To make Hong Kong golf lessons worthwhile, you must be able to follow up on them by continuing to work on the instructor's suggestions on your own time. The higher your goals, the more work will be required. Be realistic in your goals and make sure you can offer the commitment necessary to meet those goals.

Private Lessons vs. Golf Schools
Private lessons and Hong Kong golf schools are the two typical ways to receive golf instruction. Both have strengths. Private lessons allow for follow-up visits over a period of time - a building block approach to learning golf inHong Kong. Schools offer an intensive amount of learning in a short time, but can also offer too much information and without follow-up. But private lessons can take months to complete.

Every Hong Kong golf professional's best advertising is past students. To get an idea of the best teachers in your area, ask as many golfers as you know. It's likely that a handful of names will come up frequently, and that list can be your starting point. You may find someone who has taken lessons and can give a glowing recommendation on a particular instructor - or a warning.

Making the Choice
After these steps, you should be ready to make your choice. It's important that you choose an instructor whose personality meshes with yours. Going to a teacher you don't like will keep you from learning. It's important that an instructor's goals match yours, and that your commitment matches your goals. Once you've made your choice, throw yourself into it - and watch your scores improve

Golf Simultors Hong Kong

There are many types of Hong Kong golf simulators, ranging in price from something you can build yourself to thousands of dollars and, sometimes, even more. A golf simulator in Hong Kong such as City Links Golf or Express Golf Hong Kong, by definition, is something that simulates playing golf on a golf course.
This can be broken down so much that simply swinging your arms and envisioning a golf shot could be considered a golf simulator. However, for the purpose of this article, golf simulators Hong Kong are defined as equipment that allows for some response and feedback to what a user is actually doing.

This could be a screen that electronically projects a golf shot from where you hit it onto a screen and simulates the ball flight, including trajectory and shot shape, or it could be hitting golf balls into a net. Either way, the simulation is something that helps you feel, see and understand not only where your shot would have gone on a full course, but also perhaps why your shot went where it did.

Many golf simulators in Hong Kong attempt to simulate the last 9/10 of a golf shot by analyzing the first 1/10. It is somewhat accurate, but only to a point and can have a tendency to downplay the magnitude of a mishit, which causes a false sense of security in a shot. The more a shot veers offline, the more the simulator tries to justify bringing it back to its intended target. This is not so bad if you are trying to build confidence, but it is not helpful if you are trying to analyze your ball striking and shot making.

Golf simulators can be very useful for keeping your golf game crisp and honed, especially during the winter season when most golf courses and driving ranges are closed and the weather does not permit practice. Golf simulators in Hong Kong allow for extended practice time during periods of hostile weather, especially in regions that typically have longer cold seasons. Another distinct advantage of using golf simulators is that they allow you to play courses that you may never have had the chance to see. Granted, a simulated round on a prestigious course is not the same as the real thing, but it is certainly better than not ever having the chance to look around your dream course at least once.

City Links Golf Hong Kong is clearly the best indoor golf simulator in Hong Kong. Try them out now.

Callaway Golf Hong Kong

Hong Kong golfers looking to reduce their handicaps and shoot lower scores may see big improvements if they increase their likelihood of finding the green from the fairway and a new set of Hong Kong golf irons could be what is required. Reaching the green from about 150 yards down the fairway could save a player about ten shots per round, especially for mid-to-high handicappers and players could find the clubs to suit their games through the many offerings available as part of the Callaway Golf Hong Kong range.

Phil Mickelson recently used Callaway golf irons to help him land his third Masters at Augusta, with his second shot on the 13th hole of his final round from virtually behind a tree a particular stand out. Amateur players have the chance to be able to enjoy similar results from a variety of different lies and distances by opting for golf irons from Callaway Hong Kong.

Among the most popular sets of clubs are the Callaway X-22 Tour golf irons , which may suit players with a low handicap. Each iron in the range is separately optimised based on their length and loft to ensure Hong Konh Golfers benefit from better turf interaction, while a redesigned hosel and all-round sleeker design improve feel.

An enhanced feel is also supported by a shorter blade length and the CG has moved in line with the face to offer unparallel performance. Meanwhile, players can profit from greater stability and forgiveness thanks to the precise positioning of the weights in the perimeter of the irons, which also aids the trajectory of a golf ball after impact.

Low handicappers may rather opt for the Callaway Hong Kong FT golf irons, which also have a thinner top line, alongside a new head shape that produces a more traditional look. A solid feel is created by a TPU Sensert cavity-back insert and faster ball speeds are generated by a Lightweight Hot Titanium Face.

An alternate option are the Callaway Hong Kong Big Bertha golf irons, which take forgiveness levels to new heights and may best serve those who struggle to hit a ball with the sweetspot of their club. The golf irons have an oversized design with an increased offset, a large effective hitting area and a wider sole which all help to increase the likelihood of a shot reaching good distances and remaining straight.

Furthermore, a low, deep centre of gravity helps to get a ball into the air more quickly and the inclusion of VFT Technology maximises ball speed. Players additionally have the choice between traditional shaped clubs or a transition to hybrid ones with their longer irons. Callaway Golf Hong Kong Diablo Edge golf irons ensure greater distances are reached without any compromise on feel or performance.

A deeper centre of gravity not only makes the sweetpsot more accessible at lower impact positions, but also improves accuracy so players are more liable to reach more greens in regulation if they have hit a good tee shot with their golf driver.
Smooth turf interaction is supported by a solid impact sole and players can witness playability boosted by the inclusion of core technologies including VFT, S2H2 and Modified Tru-Bore.

Greg Norman Joins TaylorMade Golf Tour Staff Global Golf

Icon to Play TaylorMade Clubs and TP Red Ball CARLSBAD, Calif. (March 31, 2009) - TaylorMade Golf Company announced today that global golf icon Greg Norman has joined its Tour Staff. Norman, 54, will play TaylorMade Golf Hong Kong clubs, a TaylorMade TP golf ball, use a TaylorMade staff bag and display the TaylorMade logo on the side of his headwear. Norman chose on his own accord to play TaylorMade's TP Red golf ball with Low Drag Performance (LDP) Technology during his remarkable run at last year's Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, where he held a two-stroke lead going into the final round and finished tied for third.

It was his 30th career top-10 finish in a major. Soon after a conversation began between Norman and TaylorMade that resulted in the relationship announced today. "It started with the TP ball, which I played at the Open Championship last year," said Norman. "I'm pleased that the discussions have evolved to the extent that I am now a member of the TaylorMade Staff. TaylorMade's approach to the game and equipment design is very similar to my own. In my opinion TaylorMade is at the very forefront of golf equipment and ball technology." Norman, who spent 331 weeks as the world's No. 1 ranked golfer during the 1980's and 90's, has won 91 times worldwide, including the Open Championship twice. His improbable run at last year's Open Championship earned him an invitation to this year's Masters, which he accepted; it will be his first appearance in the event since 2002.

In preparation for Augusta, TaylorMade's tour technicians have already worked extensively with Norman to fit him for a full set of TaylorMade clubs Hong Kong, including the new R9 driver. Specifically, they dialed in his R9's Flight Control Technology setting to Neutral (N) and his Movable Weight Technology (MWT) configuration to an 8-gram cartridge in the toe, 6-gram cartridge in the back and 8-gram in the heel to promote drives that "roll out" after landing for increased distance. Norman was also fit for TaylorMade's Tour Preferred irons which he debuted on the Champions Tour last week at the Cap Cana Championship.

"Our relationship with Greg Norman is really a throw back to the way business was done when I started my career," said TaylorMade-adidas Golf Chief Executive Officer and President, Mark King. "Greg let us know prior to last year's Open Championship that he was going to play our TP Red ball. He has started testing our equipment and it looks like our technology is capable of maximizing his incredible talent. From our perspective, it is exciting to be working with Greg and seeing him go out there and give these guys all they can handle."

Cobra Golf announces introduction of new Baffler Rail Hybrid

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Cobra Golf announces the introduction of the new Baffler Rail Hybrid, the ideal alternative to long irons offering avid golfers superior forgiveness and versatility.

Thirty-five years ago, Cobra launched the Baffler and forever revolutionized the way golfers play long approach shots. The tradition continued with the Baffler DWS and TWS - which have been the No. 1-selling hybrids in the game from 2006 through 2009. Now for 2010, Cobra has drawn inspiration from the original design and years of knowledge gained from making the game's best-performing hybrids, to create the Baffler Rail Hybrid.

"Improving upon the performance of our No. 1 selling hybrid was a direct result of Cobra's focus on utilizing advanced technology and design to create superior performing clubs," says Brian Zender, General Manager of Cobra Golf. "The Baffler Rail is the ultimate hybrid for long-game performance, with improved distance and control. Golfers will find this new Baffler line to be incredibly forgiving and more playable from a variety of lies. We improved upon every key performance attribute with the new Baffler Rail."

COBRA BAFFLER RAIL HYBRID
The new Cobra Baffler Rail is a sleek-looking hybrid club that is loaded with technology. Its 17-4 steel clubhead features a thin, high strength 465 maraging steel face that is designed to increase ball speed, and combined with stronger lofts, will bolster distance. The new four-way rail sole is designed to help the club move through turf effortlessly - regardless of the lie. It also comes standard with a lightweight 65-gram Fujikura Motore shaft that is designed to help increase clubhead speed. The Baffler Rail Hybrid is ideal for all players seeking the ultimate in long-game performance.

"It was a challenge to improve upon the top-selling hybrid in golf, but we did it by utilizing several unique technologies," says Tom Preece, Vice President of Research & Development for Cobra Golf. "The innovative rail sole is designed to optimize contact with the turf, as the club comes into the ball. This more-forgiving design encourages more pure ball striking from any lie. The 9 Point Face Technology essentially allows most shots across the clubface to perform as if they were struck in the center of the clubface for improved forgiveness, accuracy and ball speed. And the special thin, lightweight clubface allows us to strategically reposition weight deeper and lower in the clubhead, which improves launch conditions for optimal ball flight."

Innovative Rail Sole
A four-way rail sole reduces the area of the club that comes in contact with the turf. The result is improved turf interaction, increased versatility and maximum forgiveness - making the Baffler Rail Hybrid the ideal long-iron replacement.

9 Point Face Technology
9 Point Face Technology creates an expanded sweet zone that promotes higher and more consistent ball speed across the clubface, for increased distance and improved forgiveness.

High-Strength Steel Face
A thin, lightweight maraging steel clubface also promotes faster ball speed and allows for 10 percent of the weight to be strategically repositioned low and back, for improved launch characteristics.

The Cobra Baffler Rail Hybrid ($175) is available in 2/H, 3/H, 4/H, 5/H and 6/H models (nomenclature refers to iron models that Baffler Rail Hybrid replaces). It is available with a Fujikura Motore graphite shaft (Lite, R or S flex) and a Lamkin grip. A women's model is available in 3/H, 4/H, 5/H, 6/H and 7/H. The Baffler Rail Hybrid is shipping to golf retailers in Hong Kong now.

Golf Lessons in Hong Kong

Hong Kong golfers wanting to find a golf lesson in Hong Kongwill find this article useful. This is especially true for golfers who have the desire to improve something in their life that they enjoy on a regular basis. Many people enjoy learning golf since for many individuals the game plays a large role in both their personal and business lives in Hong Kong.

For a lot of Hong Kong golfers the desire to play golf in Hong Kong is strong but the skills that are required to perform well in the game are not there. The plus though is that like with any other sport both practice and training can help golfers in improving their game to a respectable level. For many individuals the opportunities found in golf lessons can prove to be very helpful in their pursuit for improvement. The only issue is that professional Hong Kong golf coaching can prove to be a very expensive cost and the effort takes a great of time and effort that you do not have available.

One option that has become available for many individuals looking to have the advantage of golf lessons in Hong Kong without the expense of golf coaching can be found in golf lesson instruction books. These books contain all of the information that a person can learn from golf coaching with detailed procedural instructions and tips to improve your game. Self diagnosis is often the best tool in self improvement and utilizing written instructional golf lessons to improve your game can help correct the errors that you desire to improve upon. We don't recommend that though.

If a Hong Kong golf fan utilizes golf lessons they are making steps to improve themselves. Any effort of self improvement is a great tool in building the confidence of any individual. In addition this confidence is a tool that can be used in both your personal life and your professional life. Your preexisting role of the weak golfer is can now be eliminated as you display your golfing confidence you received from the golf lessons on the course, leaving all of your friends stunned and admiring.

In addition, providing your own Hong Kong golf coaching provides an added bonus of self satisfaction as you benefit from your own training and your own golfing experience. After your personal success, you can apply your knowledge of golf in the business world since many of the biggest business decisions in the world have been made on the range. Golf lessons can help to improve your game so that you are no longer embarrassed to compete with future clients. Allowing your client to win is fundamental but allowing them to destroy you every time you are on the course can become embarrassing to both you and your company.

The golf lessons that an individual can provide themselves provides much more experience and knowledge than any golf coaching can offer, not to mention the benefits received in both your personal and professional life.

Polar weighting
All Hong Kong golfers need it and the Callaway FT-iZ Tour Driver provides stability, consistency, incredible feel and increased speed (linear acceleration). We did all this by utilizing a heavy face and heavy in-line power source in the rear of the club to localize weight at the front and back of the driver.

Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Face Cup
Delivers our most consistently high ball speeds ever by using a chemical reduction process to selectively remove unwanted material for precision thickness control.

Aerodynamic Body Design to Make The Hong Kong Golfer Look Good
Reduces drag in the downswing for higher impact speeds. The progressive shape produces our most efficient high inertia clubhead ever.

Getting a handle on these competencies will be simpler and quite a bit faster if you receive the help of a seasoned professional giving golf lessons in Hong Kong.

Although practice is important, for the duration of the practice you could copy several other golf players who are not schooled which may cause you to get into their bad habits. Once these kinds of habits became ingrained they're very problematic and time consuming to fix. Among the many benefits of training is therefore mastering the proper technique of playing golf from the very beginning.

Hong Kong golf lessons are also a formal way of getting you to practice your game in a focused and uninterrupted setting. With no friends to distract you your concentration will improve and you will learn a lot faster. This may not sound like a whole lot of fun but your skills will develop at an outstanding rate. You will be watched like a hawk and perhaps even criticized but you are guaranteed of incredible results.

The key aim of any Hong Kong golfer is usually to boost his or her swing, hit lengthier drives and shoot lesser scores. Not merely is the following achievable through lessons but it will likely be a great deal faster to see the advance within these skills. Bettering ones own game can even help you enjoy it more while playing and being the star amongst your current golfing friends is really a plus.

Understanding which golf clubs to make use of for the numerous holes is a further significant part of the overall game. Lessons will certainly demonstrate exactly how to achieve this and in doing so decrease your current golf score and that without a doubt, is a good situation. Pacing yourself is also one more important aspect associated with golf and an experienced trainer will certainly give you scope to increase your golfing speed thereby allowing you to keep up the pace of the game.

Like many other sports Hong Kong golfing etiquette is something you should learn about in order to keep from making a fool of yourself on the green. Once again, a coach will teach you all there is to know about the etiquette of the game. This is something every golfer should know and put into practice.

Golf lessons in Hong Kong are therefore a smart choice for every golfer. If you are thinking about taking up golf, lessons are a way of learning and mastering the game in a shorter time period than you would without lessons. For the average golfer who spends weekends at the course, you may want to consider lessons if you are aiming for a better game. Either way you will not be disappointed. You friends will also be envious when they see the results making you the "go-to" guy.

Polar Weighting, Aerospace Materials Deliver the Longest, Straightest Woods in Callaway History

CARLSBAD, Calif., March 15, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) today announced the retail availability of the new FT-iZ(TM) lineup of drivers, fairway woods and hybrids. Leading this new line of Fusion(R) products is the FT-iZ Driver, engineered from the world's finest materials to deliver the longest, straightest ball flight ever produced by a Callaway driver.

"In engineering the FT-iZ Driver, Fairway Woods and Hybrids, we used new knowledge in aerodynamics, face design and weight placement to deliver breakthroughs in ball speed and accuracy," said Dr. Alan Hocknell, Senior Vice President of Research & Development, Callaway Golf. "The FT-iZ Driver represents the latest in our use of carbon fiber, aerospace-grade materials and head shaping to optimize performance."

The FT-iZ Driver marks the launch of a groundbreaking and proprietary design feature called Polar Weighting(TM), which optimizes stability at impact and yields incredible ball speeds. Polar Weighing strategically localizes weight at the front and back of the multi-material clubhead, creating a heavy face and significant in-line power source for unprecedented performance. The driver of choice for PGA Tour Professional Ernie Els, the FT-iZ also features an aerodynamic body design that reduces drag in the downswing for higher impact speeds. The result of this progressive shape is Callaway's most efficient high inertia clubhead design ever.

The FT-iZ Driver also features a new chem-milled hyperbolic face that delivers consistently high ball speeds. The chemical reduction process selectively removes unwanted materials from the titanium cup face for unprecedented precision thickness control. FT-iZ Tour models come in half lofts with a slightly more open face at address for a look preferred by skilled players. The FT-iZ Driver is now available at retail and features a new product introduction retail price of $399.

The FT-iZ Fairway Woods build on Callaway's industry-leading heritage in the category. Offering an unprecedented combination of distance, stability and feel, the FT-iZ Fairway Woods are the longest, straightest fairway woods Callaway has ever produced. Like the FT-iZ Driver, the fairway woods utilize Polar Weighting for a heavy face and heavy in-line power source that delivers screaming ball speed. The FT-iZ Fairway Woods are now available at retail and feature a new product introduction retail price of $299.

The FT-iZ Hybrids utilize Callaway's advanced Fusion Technology to deliver the Company's most forgiving hybrid design ever. A stainless steel body and sole combine with Metal Injection Molded (MIM), high-density weights to maximize perimeter weighting. That, along with the FT-iZ Hybrid's larger clubhead design, leads to an increased moment of inertia (MOI) with an optimized center of gravity. The result is increased feel and accuracy with high, powerful trajectories that fly far and land soft. An offset hosel is designed to provide a look that boosts confidence at address and provides greater workability. The FT-iZ Hybrids are now available at retail and feature a new product introduction retail price of $199 with a graphite shaft, and $179 with a steel shaft.

Callaway Golf Hong Kong Introduces Diablo Edge and Diablo Forged Irons

Maker of the No. 1 Irons in Golf for 13 Straight Years Launches New Lines of Longer, More Accurate Irons
CARLSBAD, Calif., Jan 11, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) today announced the January 15th retail availability of the new Callaway(R) Diablo Edge(TM) Irons and the February 15th retail availability of the new Diablo Forged(TM) Irons. The newest offerings from the Company that has been No. 1 in irons for 13 consecutive years, the Diablo Edge and Diablo Forged irons target two distinct player types and are engineered for distance and accuracy.

(Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20100111/LA35659)

Designed with a lower, deeper center of gravity, Diablo Edge Irons from Golf Shop Hong Kong feature a more accessible sweet spot that is in line with where most amateurs commonly hit the ball on the clubface for Hong Kong golfers. The result is longer, consistent distance and improved accuracy. The Solid Impact Sole delivers smooth turf interaction and is designed to mitigate the effects of heavy and thin shots. It also improves the impact location on the face for greater distance.

"In designing the new Diablo Edge Irons, we've taken our proven technologies and combined them with insight on where average golfers make contact on the clubface, then moved the sweet spot accordingly," said Dr. Alan Hocknell, Senior Vice President of Research & Development, Callaway Golf. "The result of that effort is greater distance overall and greater distance consistency."

The Diablo Forged Irons feature a sleek and compact head style with classic lines. With a thin top line, narrow sole, shorter blade length and minimal offset, they provide premium shot-shaping ability for a wide range of golfers. The Diablo Forged Irons are configured for greater distance than other forged irons due to a lower, deeper center of gravity that provides a penetrating trajectory. The forged steel, perimeter-weighted body and precision welded face provide incredibly soft, responsive feedback.

"We used an exceptional combination of materials to design the Diablo Forged Irons," said Hocknell. "The thin, high-strength steel face and the soft, forged steel body allowed us to move the center of gravity lower and create a unique combination of added distance and forged feel."

The Diablo Forged Irons will be available at retail on February 15. The new product introduction retail price is $999 for steel-shafted sets, and $1199 for graphite-shafted sets.

The Diablo Edge Irons will be available at retail on January 15. The new product introduction retail price is $599 for a steel-shafted set. The Diablo Edge Irons are also available in combo sets, which feature six irons and two Diablo Edge(TM) Hybrids. The combo set with two graphite-shafted hybrids and six steel-shafted irons has a new product introduction retail price of $699. The combo set with two graphite-shafted hybrids and six graphite-shafted irons has a new product introduction retail price of $799. The addition of hybrids to the set greatly benefits players who struggle with hitting their long irons and provides them with greater distance through the entire bag.
